143rd day- 222 days follow

(arrowheads)

Fair + Warmer

I mowed with the scythe today.

After I got through work I rode my wheel up to the Browne Site.  I hunted on the surface first and found one good red triangular point, and one snub nosed quartz scraper, and the base of a green flint point.

Then I dug for awhile and I found one very interesting pit.  It was full of shell ash, shell, a few bones, two beaver teeth, one small ground and edged stone I don’t know what to classify it as.

There was one roughed out large point, two broken quartz pieces, one fair white quartz scraper, and one quartz hammer stone.

I saw Bob Richmond, his son, and Johnnie Davis.  They came down and planted the camp site with sweet corn.

I stopped and talked for a time with Mr. + Mrs. Griffin.

Thel went to Boston to the ball game.
