Fair + Warm
Worked all day in the cutting garden.
When I took a look at the cutting garden this morning I felt sick, for a woodchuck had been in it and cleaned out all of my cosmos. They were about a foot tall and doing fine. He ate in all about fifty plants.
I plugged up one end of the drain under the road, and set the trap at the other end. I went and took a look about an hour later and there he was. I gave him a quick introduction to my 22 rifle and then a shovel.
Thel brought Marie and Suzanne up on the hill this morning.
After work tonight I stopped at Pick’s and she said she had Dr. Kelley up today, and Eric and David have the measles.
Saw Steve Treglawn this A.M.
The women were up on the hill today.
