162nd day- 203 days follow

Fair + Warm

Saw Mr. H. and Mrs., Bud and Priscilla.  They all must feel good as they looked fine.

When I came home at noon Thel took me down to the camp.

Dave, his family, and the Nowells and Geo. Hames were there.

I went out fishing a short while and caught one fair red perch.

I cleaned out the john* today.

After supper Dave and I played four games of cribbage with George.  I won the first two,, George won the next two, the last game by one point.

I saw a woodchuck and a red squirrel that had been hit and killed by cars on the way home.

Archie was down this afternoon.

*ed.note: The “john” was the outhouse which was affectionately called Jabez Corner!
