Fair + Cooler
Fine day to work today.
Helped Mrs. H. find some junk for the auction.
I caught a baby chipmunk in my woodchuck trap.
Saw a tiny young rabbit by the chive bed.
After supper I rode up to the Browne Site and found that someone had been jumping my claim.
I dug a few minutes and found nothing.
I saw Mr. and Mrs. Griffin. Mrs. G. told me she caught three young fellows digging in my site and she told them that I was the only one that had a permit to dig there.
She said they told her they were friends of mine. ( Damn Liars)
One of them was colored.
Rode up to George’s and spent the rest of the evening with him listening to the ball game.Rode home in the dark and don’t like it.
