Fair + Cooler
I got up at 5:15 A.M. and at 6 A.M. Bill Brewster picked me up and we went down to the shore at the Beach Club. There we met Harry H. and Lothrop W. Then we went in Spencer Brewster’s jeep to the point of the beach. Then we took a canoe off the trailer and 5 of us men and 3 boys went out to Brown’s Island.
We all hunted as long as the tide would allow and all together got about a bushel of clams.
Bill gave me a ride up on the hill, from there he took Martha to Boston.
I went over to town with Harry this morning, and paid my Real Estate tax.
At noon Harry and I took a ride up to Bubbins’ and surface hunted. It had just sprinkled there, not laying the dust.
We found a lot of junk there. Then we went over to Whipple’s. I found one good one there and nothing up at White Horse.
Walder and I shot. He got 2 to my 1.
