241st day- 124 days follow

Cloudy. Wind. Showers

The White Fuel men were up on the hill overhauling the heater.

At the noon hour the wind was blowing at almost gale force.  It broke a lot of limbs off trees and blew off what fruit there was on the fruit trees.

There was a fire on the Pine Hills yesterday afternoon.  It started at Cleft Rock and burned off about a square mile between the two roads.

After work I stopped at Pick’s and stayed for supper.  Walder and I didn’t shoot tonight.

Thel and the gang up at Carl’s all went to Provincetown today.

Mrs. H. went to the Vineyard.

I wrote a letter to Dr. Howe.
