257th day- 108 days follow

Fair + Warmer

This morning Mrs. H. got the Hertzal boy and took he and I down to the old boat house at the foot of Howes Lane.

He and I cleaned it out so she can put her boat in for the winter.  She gave us a coke for a treat.

I put D.D.T. on three of the lawns to kill jap beetle grubs.

Ski and Bud ate here at noon.

When I came home from work Victoria and her children were here.  They came over to see Thel.

The peaches on the tree I raised from a seed are the best I ever tasted.

Bud, Ski, Thel, and I took a ride up to Middleboro to China Villa and had a good supper.

On the way home we stopped in Middleboro and looked at some T.V. sets.

And we stopped and watched Bootmains a few minutes.

Then we went up to Eleanor’s for an hour and a half and listened to the Graziano fight.
