Fair + Cool
Jubbie and I cut more brush across from the cutting garden.
I cut some beautiful roses today. After dinner I cleaned up the downstairs.
Bill Whiting came up and we took a ride out to Green Bush and found the gardens there all weeds.
From there we went over to North River Bridge, all weeds there.
Then went over to West’s Saw Mill a swell piece plowed up, but it had been harrowed this A.M. so we didn’t hunt it.
We came back from there to Whipple’s and found that had been seeded down, no soap again.
Then as a last chance we went up to White Horse, this place has been hunted very hard, but I did find one very fine flaking hammer.
When I got home I saw Bob + Gretched on the street driving by. They stopped and talked awhile.
