I got up, burned the rubbish, dumped the swill, cleaned the furnace, and potted a lily for Thel, and ran the vacuum over the floors.
We all ate dinner over at Ski’s and had duck and it was good.
After dinner Geo. and Eleanor and the kids and Bud and Ski came in and we watched Brooklyn lose the last game in the World Series.
I went up to George’s for supper. He brought me home at 8:30. And came in to watch the T.V. for a short while.
I heard that Doug Hadaway has bought the Henry Jordan house on River St. for $1000 less than Harry sold it for a month ago.
