Fair  Windy  + Cool

Cleaned up down stairs this A.M.  George St. was in for a few minutes.

Arthur Pyle called me up and said Harry wanted to meet me at the H.H. site at 1 P.M. and he would have an archeologist with him- a Carl Fernstrum.

I went up on the hill and saw Mr. H. then went over to the site.  Nobody showed up for over ½ hour so I started back.  Later I met Arthur Pyle.  We rode back to the site and after a while Harry, Ellis Brewster, and Carl Fernstrum came.

I found that Carl’s home town is Blue Hill, Maine, so he and I had something in common to talk about.

We looked the dig over, then went up to the hill and looked over the stuff we got from the H.H. site and from the Winslow site in Marshfield.

Arthur Pyle gave me a ride home.

George Stef came in after supper and we played crib.  I won.

He said Betty’s Sandy is out of a job again.
