326th day-  39 days follow

Fair + Cold

We put loam around the roses today.

Bill Whiting and Marp [dropped] by. They said Dick Bent dug up a cache of spear blades in Carver.  They said that he dug them up in back of a cranberry bog sand bank and that they are about 5 in long.

Mrs. H. went to Boston today.  She is going to bring Martha down for Thanksgiving.

Henry Swift had a heart attack Sat. morning.  I haven’t heard how serious it was.

I took a walk over to the dig this morning.

Eleanor lost her pocketbook this afternoon over at town.  There was 30 bucks in it.
