329th day- 36 days follow

Fain + Warm

Jubbie and I burned piles of brush on the fire strip all day.

He got a letter at noon from a lawyer stating that [he] is being sued for personal and property damages for the auto accident he was in.

Thel’s car wouldn’t start at noon so Jubbie pulled her out and pushed her to a start.

I heard Henry Swift was taken in the ambulance up to his sister’s yesterday.

Geo. Stef. came after me tonight and took me up there to supper and a birthday party for me.

The two kids were sure cute.  They were singing Happy Birthday at the open door when I got there.

George brought me home and stayed to see the fight from Washington.

Oehme came up on the hill.

Howard Wood brought me up a load of beach grass for covering up flower beds.
