Jubbie and I covered up the flower beds up with salt hay for the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. H. stopped in at noon just long enough to pick up some stuff to take to the Vineyard.
I started with Jub to cut down dead trees on the front drive.
There was a shower for Margaret (Holman) Vaughn up at Tillie’s. The story is that she is to have twins.
I heard that Henry Swift had a bad spell a couple of days ago.
I heard that Bobbie Swift and the two Charlie Hadaways got deer yesterday.
I got a letter from Karl Fernstrom.
