ToDay is the Birthday of ___________
Fair and a little warmer, wind So.
I got up and went to work this morning and Redo came up and we turned on the water and ran into some hard luck, the water was coming through the living room ceiling in buckets full.
So we went up into the sun porch and took up some of the floor and found that one of the pipes had a hole rusted through it as large as a pea.
So it will take us another day to fix it up.
George came over to get Eleanor to take her over to his house to supper.
Mrs. Hornblower called up tonight to find out if I had the house ready. She is in bed with the grippe and won’t be down till Monday.
Martha and Drucy will be down Friday or Saturday.

I don’t know if everyone knows who the Hornblowers that Jess worked for. In 1943, Mrs. Eleanor Hornblower 45, Mr. Ralph Hornblower 50. Son Henry Hornblower 25, Ralph Hornblower JR. 24, Daughter, Martha Hornblower 14.
I’m sure Martha (14) was happy she was arriving without mom and with her cousin Drucy Greenwood. (Drucilla)
