ToDay is the Birthday of
Fair and cold, wind N.
This morning I went up on the hill and over to the store.
Frank Holman came up and got Eleanor to help him out on his books.
After dinner Frank came up with his truck and we and Archie’s family went down to the pond and got the sailboat and brought it back and put it in Aunt Tirzah’s garage.
Thel and the rest of them have gone over to Archie’s to see Frannie Holman.
Saw my first bluebird today, it was on the road in front of Percy Finney’s.
When I was up in Boston yesterday there were a lot of soldiers, sailors, and coast guards on the street.
Gee I wish it would warm up and really be like spring.
“Health and cheerfulness mutually beget each other.” Addison

Love the comment “Gee I wish it would warm up and really be like spring””..it mirrors all of our desires this time of year!

“When I was up in Boston yesterday there were a lot of soldiers, sailors, and coast guards on the street.” The war was on everyone’s mind every waking hour. There were fears of attacks from ships offshore. Enemy sneaking ashore and sabotage our infrastructure. Yet they carried on bravely, without succumbing to those fears.
