April 13 Tuesday, 1943

ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and warm, wind So.

Saw the sparrow hawk today.

Pulled the lawn roller around all day and am tired tonight.

Thelma drove up to Bibricco [?] to Roy Holman’s. She took up her father and mother and Cozette.

Mrs. Hornblower called me up tonight, she said Mr. Hornblower, herself, Harry, and his wife are coming down tomorrow night.

And Martha and Mary will be down Friday.

Put in two rows of onion sets.

“Flatterers are the worst kind of enemies.” Tacitus

(Sooty Cat was very interested in family history this morning.)
