ToDay is the Birthday of

Rain and fog, wind East.

Chet and I put in a patch of sod in front of the house.

We also put in some more strips of furring around the flower beds.

I saw a cuckoo today, but heard one last week.

Stopped in to see Eric at noon.

Took a look at Walder’s garden and he is going to have some fun with wild morning glories, though he doesn’t know it yet.

The girls worked up on the hill.

Thel told me that Betty is leaving here tomorrow, she has been here for nine months this time.

Worked a little in my garden tonight.

Mrs. Hornblower called up.
