June 25 Friday, 1943

Today is the birthday of

Fair and hot 96. Wind So.

Sure has been a sizzler today. Fried the pep right out of a guy.

Tonight Walder and I went sea bass fishing and we fished 2 1/2 hours and didn’t get a strike, just picked up lot of grass on our hooks.

Stopped in to see Eric this noon.

Used my one hour water ration today.

I heard that Earl Holman has been taken up to the hospital.

Thelma and the gang have finished up the bog weeding for Rusty Rounds.
