June 29 Tuesday, 1943

Today is the birthday of

Warm and cloudy wind So.

Saw a cock quail up on the hill.

Chet saw two woodchucks over in the cemetery.  I took a walk over with my 32 rifle and saw nothing.

Stopped in to see Eric, Pic, and Walder on my way home from work.

Worked in the garden till the mosquitoes made me quit at 9 PM.

Archie was over working in his garden.

Eleanor got a letter from Bob this noon, he is at Maxwell Field, Ala. and has qualified for a Bomber Plot. He hopes to be moved north soon as it is very hot there.

Jubbie was over tonight playing with Thel.

Eleanor worked late tonight.
