ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and cool wind No.

Picked a bushel of string bings up on the hill.

Had Charlie Fraser up on the hill to see about building some bookshelves.

I found a humming birds nest, she is building it in the pine tree over my screened loam box.

I heard last night that Fred Morton Jr has been put on the Missing list, somewhere over the Atlantic.

After supper I hoed out some of the dog grass in the garden.

Saw Mrs. Driscoll and went up to look at Martha’s garden, which is a very good one for a girl’s first attempt.

Milt, Jubbie, and Ski were doing some shooting with a bow and arrows.

Thel is going down to the camp tomorrow.
