ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and hot wind West.

I saw the four Australian boys up on the hill this morning. Taught them how to pitch horseshoes.

And I got their autographs. They are a very nice appearing bunch of boys.

Pulled up my bean vines on the hill and hope to plant a new lot Wednesday.

My garden at home is sure drying up, Archie and I had to water some of our stuff tonight.

Cozette and Archie and Rex McLane were in here tonight.

I found the Flycatcher nest today. This is the fourth successive year they have nested in the same pitch pine tree.

  1. It’s been fun planning my garden around that of Grampa’s…I was planning to plant more beans when I pulled up my peas, but didn’t know if it was too late. Guess I can try it, as he did!
