ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and cool wind east.

Put a skylight in the roof of my shop up at the hill.

Worked some in the garden. Some of my onions are getting ripe, and picked two ripe tomatoes.

Claire Driscoll came down with a friend from Washington to get some dope on archeology. Claire got stuck up on the Pine Hills with her car, Eleanor and Shrimp went up and got her started again.

This has been a fine day to work.

Milt brought down some vegetables to take down to the pond tomorrow.

I think the Frasers are getting ready to move, for the Army Salvation stopped at noon looking for their house.

Nobody is allowed on the beaches any more after dark.
