August 22 Sunday, 1943

ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and hot wind SoE.

Thel and I went down to the camp this morning. Fannie Holman went with us.

When we got there, the Hathaway family was there. Eleanor, Milt and Ski, Ed Swift, Grace and the kids, Eli’s brothers wife and boy.

They are all going to use the camp for a week.

I went out before dinner and caught some bait.

Archie and I fished after dinner. We caught pickerel, perch, and roaches.

Roy Holman and family are here for a few days.

There is a lot of fishing done in our pond this year.

I forgot to write yesterday that we saw four deer by Syming Fou’s [?] main gate outside, two old does and two fawns.
