ToDay is the Birthday of
Cloudy, light shower Wind So.E.
Thel and Ski worked for Earl today.
After dinner I rode my wheel over to Hows Lane and five of us hauled Mrs. Hornblower’s boat up and put it away in the boat house for Winter.
Rode up to Geo Lee’s garden, found only one scraper, came back by the hospital and looked Hack’s garden over and found nothing.
Walder came in and I went to town with him and he bought an axe and bill hook.
After Thel got home she and I went over to Picks to supper and stay through the evening.
Just as we came in Eleanor called up, she and George were in Peronie’s Restaurant in Boston.
Got a letter from Miss Rice, an acknowledgement of the request of the check I sent her.

Don’t know if it makes any difference, don’t want to sound picky. “he bought an axe and fill hook. It’s a bill hook. It looks like a machete with a bend or hook at the end. The modern name is a bush axe.

You’re not picky at all! Please do always let me know of mistakes – usually I’m typing these up at 5 in the morning before I’ve had enough coffee. Thank you!
