December 27 Monday, 1943

ToDay is the Birthday of

Warm No East rain storm.

Went over to HH barn and got some milk and cream.

Saw Harry Fry. He had to tell me in detail about Sonny Fry’s escape and trips home from an Army prison.

Got a Christmas card from Tina stating that Dave had given me a year subscription.

After work I took a walk up in front of the beach cottages to get the kayack I saw in the ice yesterday in front of the breakwater. Nothing left of it but a strip of canvas. The No E storm had smashed it completely up.

Thel and Ski worked up at the store today.

Ski went bowling with Tilly, Margaret, and Ginnie.

Don’t see anything to indicate that the folks have arrived on the hill yet.

Well old book, you are most thru.

“Reprove thy friend privately; commend him publicly.” Solon
