26th day – 340 days follow

36         Cloudy

Eleanor typed out my article on archaeology and took it to mail this morning.

Took a walk down by the Beach Club and along the beach on my way to work.

I hear that government surveyors are working on the bypass to the Cape.

Saw Russ Snow and Geo Finney.

Got a letter from Dave.

Eleanor gave me a ride over to the Armory and we had Federal inspection, boy what a grilling he gave me on the parts of a tommy gun. I think I did pretty well if I was congratulated after drill.

We had coffee and cupcakes after we were dismissed.

Avery gave me a ride as far as J.Bs corner on the way home.

Worked some more on the blackberries.
