83rd day – 283 days follow

40        Cloudy

Dug snow around the place this morning. This noon I came home along the beach and saw a life jacket washed ashore. I wonder what the story of it is.

After dinner I dug out my drain on the drive.

At supper Walder came in and took Eric home and I went with him so I could stay at his house while he went to a meeting at the bank.

While I was there Walder’s brother Howard called up from Washington. He wanted to know what Pic and Walder were going to name their new baby.

I stayed a while after he got home, then he drove me home.

There was a party here for Nana tonight, a shower for her expected baby.
