93rd day – 273 days follow

55        Fair

Went up on the hill this morning and shucked out some sea clams.

Bill came up this morning and he and I went off to the dig and stayed all day and had rotten luck, found only one new pit that had nothing in it.

We worked out the fire pit and took two pictures of it.

Saw a large flock of geese, they were a mile high flying north.

There was a red wing black bird on a maple watching us dig.

Went up on the hill tonight and found a dollar for Jubbie for going to the fire at the Beach Club.

On the way back stopped at Walder’s, he was burning rubbish in the rock garden. Pick came out for a few minutes.
