Snowed last, night cleared off warm.
Dug snow all day and it is hard work, about a foot deep and mostly frozen ice particles.
Tracked 12 quail up by the farm, saw a flock of pine ciskins and a lot of crows.
I put some bird grain on the stone wall and had a flock of blue jays, juncoes, chickadees, and one sparrow.
Arrowheads Up the Hill 
I am impressed by the knowledge of birds. Very touching.
