94th day – 271 days to follow

Temp 40

Plane

Cloudy and cold wind east.

This morning I went down to the Beach Club to get a piece of old garden hose.

Then I went along the Beach and found a metal aluminium plate off an aeroplane that had just come in on the tide, and probably came off the plane that went down off the Gurnet with two English Boys were drowned.

Transplanted and weeded all day.

Thel went out to her Club tonight.

Tonight we had it rather easy cleaned up our arms.

Got a ride home with Mr Packard tonight gave me a ride right up to the house.

Eleanor got a letter from George.
