71st day- 294 days follow

Fair and cool. Wind So. W.

Put fertilizer on some of the lawns.

They were putting in a telephone into the Greenough cottage.

Sawed wood this afternoon.

Ski went out canvassing for the Red Cross.

She started in on the hight shift at the Milk Bar.

Percy Finney came over for a few minutes before supper.

There was about an inch of snow on the ground this morning but it was all gone before the sun set.

There are plenty of rabbits, left for seed, (?) judging from the tracks.

After supper Thel and I went up to Geo. and Eleanors and we played seven games of cribbage.  They won the rubber game.

While we were there a fellow Thel knew from Brockton came to borrow a jack. His car had a flat tire.

Feels warmer out tonight.
