Geo. Crowell came up on the hill early this morning looking for some small linden trees to plant over by the river.
Mick Swift’s hound dog was running rabbits all the afternoon.
Ski worked today.
This afternoon Geo. came up on the hill. He was on his way back from a Cape trip. He had a fishermans cap he got for me there.
Thel has gone to a club meeting tonight.
Jubbie and I sawed logs with the cross cut saw this afternoon.
I sure miss seeing Phil Chandler around, he was always working around out of doors. I liked Phil a lot.
When I was a young kid the old folks always used to say when someone dies around Cliff there has surely got to be two more deaths soon after.

I’m so very sorry for the loss of your friend Phil. I’ve seen you write about him quite a few times and your admiration and affection for him was always clear. You have my deepest sympathies.
