178th day- 187 days follow
Fair and very hot.
Mowed in front of the house and in back of the barn.
Worked in the garden some after supper.
Then went down to the shore and did some caulking on my boat. I hope she will be tight now.
Thel and Cozette and Helen Griffin spent the afternoon down at the camp. They said it was nice and cool there.
There was a brood of baby rabbits and one of chipmunks up on the hill.
Marion Finney is coming along fine.
Geo. and Eleanor and Marie stopped a few minutes as they passed.
Helen Finney told Eleanor she is pluss. (?)
Martha left for the West.
Jennie Chandler told me she wants to sell her pasture land for $5,000.
