353rd day- 12 days follow

Fair and cold today.

The carpenter was on the job.

Cleaned up rubbish all day.

I heard today that John Davis is in Boston at a hospital and is in pretty bad shape.

I got my Xmas tree for us and one for Geo. and Eleanor.

Mr. Delano got his job done on the main roof and started on the ell.

The police caught two young fellows trying to break into Henry Litchfield’s house the night before last.

We are sure getting a lot of cards this Xmas and have sent a lot too.

There is quite a large flock of English sparrows around Ed Manter’s, the only place where there are any horses.

Ski and Bud trimmed the Xmas tree.
