40th day- 325 days follow

(Arrowheads)

Very cold and windy.

Saw Mrs. H. on the hill this A.M.

Miles and I took a walk up the Blanchard road and took a look at a small piece of plowed land on the Bearce place, found one broken point.  Came back by Bubbins’ and found one nice arrowhead on his garden.

Went by the Roberts house and in back of where Shermans lived.  There has been an awful lot of digging being done recently by the Sherman spring.

We came home by River St. and Cliff St.

Went up on the hill and found one window and the front door unlocked.

According to the radio they have a tremendous amount of snow in Chicago.
