Fair and mild fine day
Burned brush and rubbish behind the blackberry patch.
The grossbeaks have moved on.
Saw a few skunk tracks in the snow.
Burned some grass in the fire belt where the snow is melted off.
Saw the flock of quail in back of the barn.
This afternoon I went over to H.H. greenhouse to see Steve about taking off ashes. Saw Tom Beals. He said Steve and Arthur were gone to Boston.
Thel took some folks from the church up to Gene Finney’s to give him a birthday gift. He is 71.
Marion Finney is over at Percy’s. I haven’t seen her yet.
