128th day- 237 days follow

Cloudy + Cold

Very cold and miserable today.

Bill came up on the hill just before noon.  He had a lot on his mind.  Some dope Charlie S. had told him about a proposition Adrian W. had made to him.

After supper Bill came up and got me and we went to town and picked up Adrian and went out to Dries’s in Kingston and we dug test holes for about an hour on the place he and Adrian had picked for a Chapter ? and it is one of the most disappointing places I ever saw, so I think we will pass that place up.
