221st day- 144 days follow

(Arrowheads)

Foggy + Cooler

Harry asked me to go over to  his dig that Bullen is finishing up over in Marshfield..  We picked a young fellow, a parachute jumper by the name of Dupree and we dug till 2 P.M. with the Bullen troupe.

I found two important colonial artifacts, the lead frame for window glass with a piece of glass in it, and a part of a stirrup.

And we went out to the Daniel Webster house and had some lunch, then came back and dug some more.

I found an Indian shell layer of not more than 1 ½ inches on top of the top soil and I got out of that several pottery shards, 3 arrowheads, and one spearhead.

Harry found in a pit one of the finest small cells I ever saw, also a blank in a pit.

Thel and I saw the Colored Giants […..]*

Ed. note: The last three words were illegible. Apologies.
