Cloudy + Snow + rain

Worked up on the hill this A.M. and got  my flower beds covered for the winter.

After dinner Thel took me in the snow storm up by Sym[ington’s] to the Long Pond Road around by Cotton Pond, down the Beaver Dam Road to the I pond road.

She left me there for two hours and I hunted alone and she came after me at 4:30 P.M.  Saw nothing.

George went all day with his brother.  They scared up two deer and didn’t get either of them.

Raining like time now.

The September Bulletin came today.
