38th day- 328 days follow

Sat. Fair  Cold

This morning I went over to Walder’s and we went up on the hill to check up.

Then we took a ride up to Boston and went into the Sportsman’s Show, and what a crowd.  We tried to get a chance to see the afternoon show, the only place we could see at all was way up in the top balcony, and there the crowd was five deep standing.

Then we rode over to the North Station and took a walk up into the shopping district.  I bought a belt.

Then we went back to the Garden and saw the B.A.A. rack Meet and we sure enjoyed the show.

Saw Gill Todd win the mile.

Snowing when we came out, and all the way home.

Arrived at 1:30 A.M.

  1. This brought such wonderful memories to me. My dad, Walder, used to bring me to the B.A.A. track meets in Boston when I was a teenager. I didn’t realize that he and Grampa had gone to them in the ’40’s.
