48th day- 318 days follow
(Arrowheads)
Trimmed vines around the house.
On the way home at noon I found a swell stemmed arrowhead in Jennie Chandler’s. It is a beauty.
At noon Ripley Bullen came in and he had some files of Harry’s for me to take up on the hill.
Thel took Marjory up to Eleanor’s for the day.
Hunted in Jennie Chandler’s on the way home tonight. Found one small piece of Indian pottery.
Thel went to town and gave Evelyn Holman a ride down to the canal and back.
I expected Jubbie to show up to work this afternoon, but he didn’t.
Al Holman wants to buy his mother’s house. I wonder if. (?)*
When I was going up to work this morning a duck flew over me in good gunshot range, and before I got up to the barn a pigeon hawk flew in front of me.
*ed.note. Now we’ll all be wondering!

I don’t know who Al Holman is, but if he’s talking about Thelma’s mother’s house at 69 Cliff Street, Al didn’t buy it. My parents bought that house from Cozette (Sr.) Holman’s estate in 1956. And loved it!
