85th day- 281 days follow

Fair + Cool

Raked and trimmed all day.

Jubbie raked this afternoon.

Fred Moon worked up on the hill today.

After I got through work I went over through the cemetery.  Tom + his son were burning grass there.

Went to the store and got some tobacco, saw Fred Enos there.

Thel was over to Wanetta’s this afternoon to a baby shower.

After supper Bobbie Swift stopped for me and the gang of us went to the polo game.

Worcester played Plymouth and won 9 to 8 after an overtime game.  Worcester’s goal tender was hit in the side by a driven ball and he was out for some time on the floor.  The game was delayed 20 minutes and they had to put in a new goal tender.

I am wondering just how badly he is hurt.

I heard tonight that Harry Bradford has had a shock.

Bubbie Nickerson said he is in pretty bad shape.
