125th day- 241 days follow
Fair + Warmer
I worked all day painting lawn furniture.
The women were up on the hill housecleaning.
Lewis Fugazzi was up and put two new awnings on Martha’s windows.
After supper Thel and I went up to J.B.’s corner and got some horse meat for Sauci, from there we took a ride up to So. Pond to take a look at the wood lots [of] the Courtneys and Holmans and Nickersons.
John Nickerson May 4, 1948 to May 4 1949.
When we came back we took a ride up as far as Gellar’s and had an ice cream, the largest on the market for the money.
Bubbie Nickerson came up on the hill after Tillie this afternoon. Jim Adams was with him. I don’t expect Jim ever will get up there again. I never saw anyone that had the shakes as bad as Jim.
