158th day- 208 days follow

(Arrowheads) Harry has a new daughter

Fair + Warm

This is the first real summer day we have had this season.

I started out at 8 A.M. and rode my bike up to Bubbins’. Saw Mrs. Bubbins.  Hunted their land for a couple of hours and found one very large snub nosed white quartz scraper, and one small good white quartz elongate arrowhead and several broken pieces.

I then rode over to the Browne Site and dug in the old place for two hours and got one fair white quartz triangle point, one grey green triangular fair.

Then I went to the upper side of the buckwheat and dug in the woods for an hour.  Here I found one extra large triangular white quartz point, one broken base, and best of all one fine polished celt. Fine.

Then I went up to Eleanor’s and she gave me my dinner.

Left there at 4 P.M.

Mrs. H. called me up and said Harry had a daughter born today.

Thel and I took a ride down to Vallerville and had supper at Alton Valler’s restaurant.  The food was good and the servings large.

We stopped to see George and Eleanor on the way back.
