259th day- 107 days follow

Fair + Cool

I missed Jubbie up on the hill today.

I stopped in to see Pic and the  boys on the way home from work.  Pick had just finished painting a picture of some clouds she liked the looks of.

While I was there I heard Thel call my name, so I came home.

Bill Whiting was here.  Bill had a prize arrowhead he dug up at the Nook on the old Colby Wood’s site.

Marie and Suzanne were here for supper, after which we took them home.  On the way home I stopped in at the Hathaway’s and gave them Jubbie’s $100.00 check.

Arche gave me a bag of tomatoes.

  1. My grandfather certainly pegged my mom, “Pic”, when he mentioned her painting. clouds she liked the look of. She’d often look up and say, “Oh, a Constable sky!” She indeed was one who saw the beauty in life. Miss you, mom!
