158th day- 207 days follow

Fair + Warm

The women were on the hill.  Thel and Eleanor were up there a few minutes this afternoon.

Used oil and lamp black on the steps, put sulphate on the green up by the house.

Paid my Federal Income Tax today.  Eleanor took it over. $38.75

Geo. Stef came down while I was eating supper.  After I finished I went up to the hospital with him and I went in to see Charlie Fraser.  He seemed to be quite cheerful, but says that so far they haven’t found out what makes him have such a fluctuating temperature.

From there we took a ride out to the Homestead and had a couple of glasses of ale, and watched the television for awhile. It was the Milton Berle Show and very good.

Thel is picking the car up at George’s on the way home tonight.

Art Cox was around here Sunday looking for a place to put up a tent.
