315th day- 50 days follow

Arrowheads

Fair + Warm

This A.M. Bud, Ski, and I rode over to town to see the parade.  It was short but good.

Eleanor and the two girls came down here this morning and Eleanor cleaned up the rooms for Thel’s club party.

After dinner Bill Whiting came up and he and I took a ride up to Carver to the old Fred Gould farm and we hunted and dug some around the sand pits of the bogs.

At the first pit I found the base of a fine large felsite spear.  The only thing we found in the whole afternoon.  It must have been almost 70 when we got there, but before we left the wind went North and it got quite cool.

You could hear the North Wind roaring quite awhile before we felt it.
