(Hurricane)
Cloudy Windy + Cool
Jubbie is on his vacation for this week. The place is a mess on the hill after the hurricane winds of last night.
At noon Thel gave me a ride over to the head of the beach. The salt water was running across Warren Avenue. There was a lot of lobster gear smashed.
I stopped in at Pick’s on the way home from work.
Had supper with them, then Walder took us all for a ride over to the waterfront in front of Mabbit’s Mill. There was a lot of small boats up against the breakwater, some smashed, one large two master on the point of the beach.
Then we took a ride up by White Horse and along Manomet Bluffs and down to Ellisville. Annice + the kids were in bed to keep warm. They have no heat in the house. Came back to Walder’s and I stayed there till 11 P.M.
