(Sid)
Mr. Shepherd of Kingston the undertaker called me up just before I went to work this morning and he said that Sid had died and he wanted to know who was the nearest of kin. I told him about Sid’s son, so he said he would call him and then let me know what he said.
I called him at noon and he said Sid’s son said he didn’t feel as if it was any of his responsibility.
So I told him that I would furnish a place in my lot and give $100.00 towards the burial expense.
Dave and his family came at noon.Dave and I went up and got Chick Howland and we went over to my lot and staked out for Sid’s grave.
We went down to the camp and took in Dave’s boat and stowed them all away for winter.
After supper Dave worked on the washing machine from 6:30 P.M. till 10 P.M.
