ToDay is the Birthday of ___________
Warmer today the wind is south.
Cleaned out the vines and bushes along the wall between the barn and the flag pole.
After dinner I got a tel. call from Paul Goodwin. He wanted to know if I’d go rabbit hunting with him.
He came up and we went up to White Horse and hunted on the commons south of Bartlett Pond.
We brushed thru the west side first and what a place. Never saw so many briars before, Paul saw one rabbit.
Then we swung over on to the east end of the commons, this was even more terrible going. He we jumped four rabbits and one cock pheasant and got nothing, it is so thick.
I gave Paul a couple of rabbits and some 12 gage shells.
Percy Finney came in and we had a few games of crib.
Raining tonight.
